Instructions following these procedures are simple. Please allow the teeth to rehydrate after these procedures, we ask the patient to refrain from smoking, consuming coffee, tea, red wine, and juices with dark color for 48 hours.

Patients will sometimes experience 12 – 24 hours of sensitivity to cold and heat on some teeth after the procedure. This is normal. High Fluoride concentration toothpastes can help to alleviate these symptoms, which almost always disappear within 24 hours.

Mild throbbing is a more unusual post treatment possibility, and this is relieved with Tylenol or Ibuprofen. This rarely lasts more than 6 hours post treatment.
