There has been a breakthrough treatment for migraine headaches and TMJ Disorder, called the NTI-tss neuromuscular suppression device. We have successfully used this appliance in treating many patients over the last 3 years. This was the first FDA approved non-drug for treating migraine headaches. In recent clinical trials, 82% of migraine sufferers had a 77% average reduction in headaches using this appliance.
Even a higher percentage of our TMJ Disorder patients have experienced relief of symptoms from this device.
This surprisingly comfortable device is fitted over the two upper front teeth, and fabricated in the office. This prevents the back teeth from touching during sleep and reduces muscular activity, which is often the source of TMJ symptoms and migraines. This device differs from traditional mouth guard therapy, because it limits muscular activity, and can be fabricated in the office in one short visit.
We encourage you to visit the link to NTI ‘s website for further information, or call our office to speak with one of the team.
