Denise Mauro
Denise Mauro has been a Dental Hygienist for 24 years. She graduated from NYC Technical College. Denise has been working with Dr. Acker and rooting for the Mets with him since 1991. When Denise isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Joe and children James, 15 and Stephanie, 13.

Sherry Posner
Always greeting her patients with a smile, Sherry has been practicing dental hygiene for 31 years (the last 24 with Dr. Acker). Sherry continually strives to learn new methods in dental hygiene to help her patients feel happy and comfortable. The mother of adult twins, Bari and Brent, she enjoys family, friends, fine foods and spending time with her fiancee, Gary.

Maddie Prussack
Maddie Prussack has been a Dental Hygienist for 35 years. She has worked with Dr. Acker for 20 years. Maddie works for Elite Dental as a Dental Hygienist, Hygiene Coordinator, and she is unofficially in charge of our theatre critics and culinary departments. When not working, Maddie enjoys cooking, baking and going to the theatre with her husband Howard. Maddie and Howard have two daughters, Tara and Alexis, and two cats, Oscar and Cleo.
