Carole Berman
Carole Berman has been working in the dental field for thirty years, almost her entire life. She has worked with Dr. Acker for 15 years, both as a Dental Assistant and currently as a Treatment Coordinator. Carole enjoys spending her free time with her husband Stu, and sons Matthew and Jordan.

Yvette Duskin
Yvette Duskin started her assisting career in 1990 with Dr. Acker. When not working at Elite Dental, Yvette enjoys time with her family – Alanna who is 17, Gabrielle who is 13 as well as her husband Sandy, and the family puppy CJ. She is a signature member of the Barry Manilow Fan Club.

Jonathan Acker
Jonathan is one of the newest additions to the Elite Dental staff. A student at Purdue University, where he is studying environmental health and industrial hygiene, Jonathan hopes to one day work in the health profession, perhaps dentistry. When not working at Elite Dental, he can be found on an ambulance, where he is an EMT. “Working in a dental office has really broadened my horizons”, says Jonathan. Jonathan enjoys singing classic rock songs while assisting, and can often be found using dental instruments as drumsticks.

Richard LaFergola
Rich has been working at Elite Dental for the past 5 years. Recently graduated from Penn State, Rich earned his degree in Finance. He has incorporated his business background and his extensive dental knowledge and is now an Alumnus of Elite Dental of Staten Island. He has accepted a position as a Cerec Speicialist for Patterson Dental, in Baltimore, Marlyland. He is by far the youngest member of Patterson Dental with this title, partly due to the training he had at Elite Dental. Rich has been extremely versatile with his skill sets over the past few years, performing the tasks of a clinical assistant, treatment coordinator, and full-time comedian. “I have made many sacrifices with patients watching “The View,” “Dr. Phil,” and “Oprah.” He strives to make a patients visit that much better.
