Composite Fillings |

You may eat immediately after this treatment since composite materials set completely during the procedure. It is often wise to wait until any affects of the local anesthesia have worn off. Some patients may experience sensitivity to chewing for a day or two after the procedure. If the filling is near the nerve of the tooth, a few hours of throbbing is normal. This can be alleviated with Tylenol or Ibuprofen.
